Safety First!
We are proud of our community of Coach Educators and invest in their training and education. All coaches working with our nonprofit have certified Federal Background checks and are SAFE SPORT approved. They have passed the mandatory education for Safe Play, a comprehensive athlete safety program consisting of education, screening, reporting tools, and policies for appropriate conduct in tennis. The USTA works with the U.S. Center for SafeSport and the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee to develop Safe Play policies, procedures, and educational resources to support the program. We are proud members of the Amateur Athletic Union to receive additional training and support.
