LoveSetMatch Announces Transportation Partnership with HopSkipDrive to Expand Youth Access Across Los Angeles County
Monterey Park, CA — [02/23/26] — LoveSetMatch, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing youth development through tennis, fitness, and health education, proudly announces a new transportation partnership with HopSkipDrive through its HopSkipImpact Program.
This partnership strengthens LoveSetMatch’s commitment to removing barriers to participation by providing safe, reliable, and technology-driven transportation solutions for youth and families across Los Angeles County.
Through HopSkipDrive’s Ride IQ platform, LoveSetMatch can efficiently schedule rides for participants while ensuring real-time visibility and communication for caregivers. Families are able to track rides from pickup to drop-off via the HopSkipDrive mobile app, offering an added layer of safety, transparency, and peace of mind.
“Our mission is to make tennis, health education, and fitness accessible to all youth — especially those in underserved communities,” said Phillip Kim, Executive Director of LoveSetMatch. “Transportation is one of the biggest barriers to consistent participation. This partnership with HopSkipDrive ensures our students can arrive safely, consistently, and on time to programming that supports their physical health, academic focus, and personal development.”
HopSkipDrive is known for its rigorous 15-point CareDriver certification process, industry-leading safety standards, and specialized transportation support for foster youth and students experiencing housing instability under the McKinney-Vento Act.
By integrating safe transportation into its program model, LoveSetMatch aims to:
Increase program attendance and retention
Expand access to tennis and wellness programming across LA County
Support working families with dependable logistics
Improve equitable participation in youth sports and health education
LoveSetMatch currently partners with schools, LA County Parks and Recreation, community organizations, and local agencies to deliver STEM Based tennis instruction, fitness training, and health education programming throughout Southern California. The addition of structured transportation services marks a major step forward in building sustainable, accessible programming infrastructure.
“This collaboration is about more than rides,” Kim added. “It’s about access, opportunity, and ensuring that no child misses out because of transportation challenges.”
