At the beginning of the year, a young athlete named Abigail Henry, a proud member of the La Cañada High School tennis team, lost her home in the devastating fires. Her family escaped with their lives, but everything else… was gone. Clothes. Equipment. School supplies. Even her beloved tennis racquet — the thing she used every day to find joy, discipline, and escape — turned to ash. But thanks to the generosity that fuels LoveSetMatch, we were able to step in quickly and give her something powerful: a fresh start. We provided her with new athletic clothes, a new Wilson racquet, new New Balance tennis shoes, and the encouragement to return to the court she loves. When she held that racquet in her hands, she began to smile — the first spark of hope her family had seen in days. Moments like this remind me why our mission matters. Why you matter. LoveSetMatch isn’t just about tennis. It’s about restoring dignity, rebuilding confidence, and reminding kids that they are not alone — even in disaster, even in heartbreak. Today, I’m asking — gently and sincerely — for your support so we can continue answering moments like Abigail’s with compassion and action.
Kids are facing hardship, trauma, loss, or simply a lack of access to safe, healthy programs. LoveSetMatch is on the ground helping! Every gift, no matter the size, fuels this work. And right now, your support truly means the world. If Abigail’s story moved you, would you consider making a donation to support our mission?
Thank you for standing with us.
